Why is the meeting being cancelled?
During our ongoing consultation and engagement process, we have received stakeholder feedback regarding the proposed boundary lines. To ensure the best possible outcome for our local business community, we are taking this opportunity to strategically refine and adjust the proposed expansion area.
Next steps
Rather than holding a meeting with draft information that is currently being revised, we have decided to cancel the upcoming SGM. Once the new map and updated budgets are finalised, the MBA Executive Committee will set a new date.
When that new date is confirmed, you will receive a fresh Notice of SGM, along with the fully updated document pack for your review.
We apologise for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause, and we look forward to presenting a strong, cohesive expansion proposal to you in the near future.

The Manurewa Business Association Incorporated exists to promote and support local economic development in Manurewa. We advocate on behalf of local businesses when working with partners such as Auckland Council and Police, and we provide networking and training opportunities to strengthen the business community.
As an Incorporated Society, we are funded by a targeted rate for businesses within our Business Improvement District (BID). All businesses or business owners located within the BID area are eligible to be members of the Manurewa Business Association. Businesses outside the BID are welcome to join as Associate Members to access the benefits of our network.
