The Manurewa Business Association Incorporated is Manurewa’s local Business Association. Our objective is to ensure that Manurewa is known as a vibrant, safe, attractive and pleasant town centre environment. This is aimed at attracting, growing and retaining business which will drive employment and economic stability in the area. Manurewa Business Association Inc. is a not for profit Incorporated Society currently representing approximately 500 businesses in the Manurewa and Clendon business precincts.
The Manurewa Business Association provides a wide range of services for members including promotion of Manurewa as a destination that encourages an environment attractive to new business, employment growth and community development.
The Manurewa Business Association is a member of the Auckland Council Business Improvement District programme that is coordinated by the Council BID team. Each associated group uses targeted rates to promote economic growth in our areas. Each BID has a set of accountability requirements set out by Auckland Council that we must adhere to.
The BID exists to strategically and operationally promote the wellbeing and vitality of the Manurewa and Clendon Town Centres. It is managed by a Town Centre Manager, who is the representative of the Executive Committee of the Manurewa Business Association (MBA).

The Town Centre Manager (TCM) partners with various community and council based forums, liaising with organisations and businesses in actions that will promote and support the Manurewa and the local community to offer a diverse business offering and shopping experience in a safe and secure environment.
